We celebrate the resurrection because we believe that Jesus Christ, though fully God, became a man, lived a sinless life, and suffered unto death. This provided atonement for our sins by His vicarious death on the Cross. Three days later, He was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of the Father, and today He lives and makes intercession for us. This is our hope as Christians!
